Research Grant Application Guidelines & Application Submission

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The SoWH will not be offering it’s $10K Research Grant this year (2019). Research remains a high priority for SOWH, and the SoWH Board of Directors made this difficult decision after examining the SoWH 2019 budget and strategic priorities. This decision affects this year’s grant alone; we fully anticipate the grant will return in 2020. Please stay tuned for information about the 2020 research grant application submission form to be announced in fall 2019.

The purpose of the American Physical Therapy Association’s Section on Women´s Health (SoWH) Research Grant Awards program is to encourage the scientific study of topics consistent with the mission of the SoWH. The maximum amount of funding provided by this grant is $10,000. No salary support or indirect costs are available through this funding mechanism. Only Section on Women’s Health members in good standing are eligible to submit an application and at least one Investigator of the proposal must be a member in good standing of the Section on Women’s Health. Font and Margins
All sections of the application should include Arial font at 11pt and margins set at 0.5 inches.

AMA format is required for this proposal.
